New Products for 2013

Circa Style

This month I will be featuring new items found at the mart in Atlanta, GA and decorating ideas to go with them.  Our trip to Atlanta was quite an adventure, as it always is..the weather was spectacular, warmer than anticipated, but rather humid!  A great week to leave California where the weather was much colder than normal for this time of year and in Big Bear, the temps were below zero a few evenings....Burrrrr!  Certainly, not our normal weather pattern or temperatures for January.  After a full day of previewing all the new merchandise offered for 2013 and exploring eighteen floors of everything you can imagine.....it was time to relax, enjoy the great southern hospitality..and dine out......each night a different restaurant..and as always...no matter where we dined, the food, service and people were wonderful.....Of course, we ate at the Buckhead Diner...and I have to tell you, this is a diner not to be missed if you visit Atlanta......Valet Parking at a diner...no less...table linens, classic formal dining yet casual, comfortable dining....and the menu is fabulous.....and the desserts and great martini's.....Oh...La...La....We also tried a delightful french restaurant...and the food was divine and the desserts.....memorable....

Today, I am presenting a new line from Mud Pie..we have ordered a variety that will accessorize any table and decor.  Of course, Vintage is very popular again this year and it seems some traditional serving pieces are becoming popular again: such as butter dishes, condiment dishes, salt dips, small serving bowls for relish,  olives, salsa, dips, etc.  Vintage Circa Style Table Top Serving Accessories with Silverware images, including silver-plated serving pieces and accessories, a new twist to a classic style.  I am certain these items will become an all time favorite and I am excited to include them with the many items selected this year for Cedar Rose Lane.  Coming soon to the store and our web site..Stay tuned for more items.....

Off to Atlanta

All Packed

January 2013

Getting ready to fly off to Atlanta, Ga for the January 2013 Gift Show and as you can see my bags are packed!  Ha!  For those of you who know me best, there are a few suit cases packed with my shoes.....however, as we all know, the airlines only let you check in one bag....so I am struggling here with what to do...

As with any buying trip to the Mart...it is always an adventure....this one certainly should be a memorable one as well.......What to buy?  

I am excited to search and find new items, new vendors and ideas for the store....and certainly to get out of the cold and snow for a few days....Yes, snow arrived again last evening......but, I must remember it is Winter.....

Upon my return, there will be many new blogs to post, great ideas, decorating tips, new colors and trends to follow for 2013......
